Workshop: Doodle on, Dude!

"The results of your wonderful presentation were nothing short of amazing." –– Caroline Ward, Coordinator of Youth Services, The Ferguson Library, Stamford, Connecticut
Karen took a chance on telling a story through doodling and discovered a new format. In this workshop, she demonstrates how she put together DOODLEBUG: A Novel in Doodles (July 2010), and explores doodlewriting with kids.
This workshop was piloted in April 2010 during Draw On!, a monthlong celebration of drawing sponsored by the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art. It was developed during visits to Rogers Park Middle School and Pembroke Elementary School in Danbury, Connecticut, and the Cyrenius H. Booth Public Library in Newtown, Connecticut.
